 Memory Problem and Question

I've tested both the public 1.2.6 and 1.2.7 and have come across the problem of large amounts of memory being used by the process ~300-400k and more if I leave it on. (Probably will lead to memory overflow but I haven't tested)
I only have the resources, show all players, and radar HUD enabled with refresh rate on highest.

Generally it only gets to this level of memory usage around the 4th game (15-20min games) and causes my crappy laptop to lag hard. As the initial memory usage for the first game is very low, I suspect that unused resources aren't disposed of properly...


My Question/Suggestion is:
Can you display the units/research that is in production?

I just downloaded and tried version 1.2.7.1 and it doesn't seem to have the problem anymore

Not that it really matters now but 1.2.6 definitely has this problem, and i can't confirm for 1.2.7 as i overwrited it.

Never checked for this information.
Don't know if the data sent to other connected clients is only the pressed button and the selected structure.
If hooking some api calls is needed, it will be never added.
No hook no searchable dll Smile

i havent checked for anything other than the unit structs in memory myself, but I'm guessing that it should be there somewhere.

I'm deriving this theory from the fact that all parties in the game are sent event data (which is stored in replays) meaning that the actual production/research progress must be calculated and stored by each client. (This explains the production tab that referees and spectators have access to)

If I/someone can provide you with the relevant offset and info, can you add this feature Very Happy

One day probably yes! As soon as we can find enough time to work on it Smile

But i think that enemy players specific data, it's not stored in local structures but only processed through the packets and saved into the data used for saving replays.
