| yeh iv looked at it all, but when i actually attempt to try out a custom game with ai..
it just makes an overlords, 3 drones and thats it..
im talking bout full auto bot?
makes everything attacks, gets units, expands stuff like that?

| Sc2MapPro is only a collection of utility to help you during games. It's not a full auto bot. | |

| Perhaps it's a better idea to think of Sc2MapPro as a utility. You don't have to press to make drones any more,
It does many other things as well. Beating a insane AI is very possible with Sc2MapPro.

i dont quite understand. what exactly is the problem? play a few games against AI until you got everything working out. and check the howto sections..

Yeah during the transition phase its likely you'll end up doing worse. The thing is the bot has so many functions and different ways of doing things its easy to end up with a situation that hinders gameplay. My best advice is to switch everything off and slowly introduce just one function at a time ...it can take many many games to get bot tweaked to your own sweetspot and since each of us plays in a different style its unlikely that a setup that works fine for me will be good for you. Play against the AI until you resolve the major issues as the last thing you need in ladder games is a bot that is working against you. It sounds like a cop out for me to say go for the "trial and error" method but honestly i really think thats your best bet. Wootcandy made some pretty good detailed tutorials but sc2mapPro has been on the move so its likely some of that info is a little outdated. https://gamebotdev.forumattivo.it/t213-hud-guide-128b8checkout all his stuff as there's much to learn.

| Bot definitly takes some adjusting too. Once you are familure with the bot, it's features and it's quirks you'll be steam rolling people.
That HUD Guide is quiet a bit outdated :O
Doing what dave said turning off most features would be a good way to get started. Jumping in headfirst with everything on playing some comp stomps isn't a bad idea either.
You build buildings, set rally points. Bot creates units, upgrades, inject/chrono/mules.
Use Ctl 1 & 2 to control your own forces. If your not protoss you can use ctl3 too.
Good luck, you'll love it as much as we do I think when you are more comfortable with it!

| Ok i have been getting the hang of all this, and while i don't have it all down i can see the giant leap in my game to come. I always had a problem constantly making probes and the alert for being 4 away from pylon is a nice little help. But i do have one question i have not really been able to figure out or find on the how to guides is ( I play protoss ) is there any way to make it auto chrono something like a forge when i get auto upgrades ?
And i noticed some of my alerts were not all working properly, I have gotten 4 gated alot when its PvP and it never puts up the alert any ideas ?

hehe sounds a bit radical though. you are right though there's plenty of reference material here now so there's no real reason why someone should hit a complete brick wall. we can help but no one needs spoon feeding imo Lmr22, The hard part is determining at which point does it become crystal clear you are being 4 gated? we can't say with complete certainty that if a toss builds a single gateway its a 4 gate ...neither is it true if they build a gas soon after or even if they add a cybercore. its only when they add 3 more gates a reliable enough pattern can be established and at that point it could be too late. So a better system imo is to react to whats actually going on. there's 3 ways: 1) scout 2) keep a close eye on your resource hud 3) create a custom alert system that informs you what's going on. Option 1 is probably better suited for intermediate users. Option 2 involves focusing on the resource hud properly. So that leaves option 3. Fortunatly i have created a very comprehensive custom alert system (800+ alerts) and after a little more testing i am going to post it here. to be honest it should have already been posted but i got sidetracked
