| PROTOSS POWERHi guys, firstly I have some english language difficulties, so forgive me for spelling mistakes. When I got the bot, like a newbe, I asked myself the question : Seriously, what does this bot ? After some train versus IA, and in the ladder too, I discovered that this bot is unique and offers the opportunity to have an excellent macro. By the way, for information, macro in Starcraft II is essential. If you have a good macro, you have all chances to win. Micro help you mostly in high level games. For my part, I've won 9/9 games with the bot. This tread is supposed to help people who want replays as example. Hope it will help you. So, I attached some replays (only protoss!), played in ladder. Tips : -You have to Warp manually all gateway's units. -Faster expansion than me (I'm pretty weak, bought SC2 only one week ago) give you better possibilities to make huge army in late game. If you want to "rush", stop auto probes maker near 20 probes. -I put auto unit only on Coloss, then on Void Ray. You can also made a 4gates rush, put 20 probes max/nexus. Theses games are kinda easy, but it can used to an example. Happy gaming with Macro bot ! Thanks to developper and mods. Regards. Replay pack : HERE

| Damn - I feel poor for those guys If that's your real in game name in the replays though, I'd suggest to remove them from the forums for now - you can never know whos listening, if you know what I mean I think there is a thread that explains how to change your names in replays, can't seem to find it though. | |

| My first game in season 2 (4v4) I stomped my competition. Was 100 Platinum after 1 win. Does it go off of last season somewhat for placement? Or just ladder is empty and you fall higher up.

| I have 50 wins with 300 points, 2nd and soon 1st but i'm still in bronze league. Some people have 2 games and are in top 5, I don't understand anything with that classment system | |

| wootcandy,
Yes, it keeps your MMR from Season 1. The placement match you have to do in Season 2 is basically to get rid of inactive players on the ladder. Everything but MMR has been reset.
hssn,
Well, it's actually quite simple. You earn points from winning, but you lose points as well whenever you lose a game. The amount of points earned or lost is determined by your opponent's rating (is he favored or not). Basically it makes all the sense in the world that you're still in bronze since you're still losing every now and then (hence the 50 wins and only 300 points). If you have a 1:1 win-loss ratio, then you're in the right league.

| Yeah another protoss player seems like most people who use the bot on here use terran.
I really really like the auto build feature since when I'm attacking I spend too much time microing most of the time and don't build enough units, so I can basically constantly reinforce my army now.

I understood this, but firstly I can't see all my games stats, but only wins (can't see how many games I've played). Secondly, I think I've better ratio than 1, and I've a question : How people can up in league, I mean move from Bronze to Silver, for example; Maybe you have to win lot of game in 1st~ rank, then you up, or it's manually ? I don't really know, I can't find the answer on web....

| I was in silver with my 2on2-Team. we where on place 1 over 2 months. We had the double of the points of place 2 and played over 300 games. We did not rise at all. In 3on3 random I played 8 games and rose up.
After Season 2 started I played ONE game with my mate and we rose up.....

I think this system is hard to understand, they r too many division... Basically if you keep getting put against higher league players you are close to moving up, just keep winning and you will move up. You can be any position in a league and move up, you can also move from bronze straight to platinum if you beat the right people.

That explain a lot of my questions on the ladder system...

| No thats not I read about. If you are placed, you can only get up or down league by league. And getting players from the leagues above all time is shitty, since we are not able to win against them. We are winning against all of our league and the not-so-good from gold, but every 2nd game is against a platinum or diamond-team, and we are not able to win there. So we are not getting enough wins to get up a league. There is no logic behind this. | |

I mean WE (as cheaters) can beat people better then us who play legit

| You guys are not getting this right. Let me try to make it a bit clearer. But do forgive me, since English is not my mother tongue. Basically Blizzard wants you to be in a league where you'll have an equal amount of win and losses. If placed in the right league, you should have a 55% win percentage in games played vs. players in your current league and 70% win percentage vs. players in the league below you. Let me give you an example: You're currently in platinum and you face off against 10 other platinum players. You win 5-6 of those matches which will, in turn, counting bonus pool and the fact that you've won slightly more than you've lost, make you climb the ladder of your current league. You also face off against 10 gold players which, given you're playing in a league that matches your skill level, brings in about 6-8 wins. Now, to rise above your league, which in this case would mean being promoted to diamond, you would have to improve your win rate vs. other platinum players so that have about 6-8 wins (which is your current win rate vs. gold) out of 10 games played. If the system detects that you're winning slightly more then you should be for your current league placement, it will match you against players in the leagues above you. Win those (or really just about 55%) and you'll be promoted. This is what is referred to as MMR or Match-Making Rating. It's quite simple really. By the way, I'm saying 10 games to make the example more comprehendible. It might be more, it might be less. Basically, your rank has really nothing to do with being promoted. I cannot stress this enough To be honest, being placed high in your league, let's say the top 25, only solidifies the fact that you're in the right league and you're probably NOT looking at a promotion any time soon. Basically you're winning about 55% of your matches (maybe more, maybe less) which means you'll be gaining points and therefore moving up the ladder. Therefore a guy placed in top 50 platinum with only a few wins has the potential to be way more dangerous than a player in the top 8 with a lot of wins, since the player in top 50 might be looking at a promotion in his next few games. I hope that helps. If not... sue me? | |

| Yup that is correct, its just sad how I am matched up with diamonds, platinums, and master leagues for my random 4s. | |

| Yes, Mocca, that sounds cool, but I have no chance of proofing my "goldness" (means: rising from silver->gold) if I am playing 8 out of 10 games against Platinum/Diamond. We only win 1-2 games of out 10 against them. So our losscount is rising because we are playing ALLE THE FUCKING TIME against plat/diamond. | |
